Recently read an article stating that 98% of pets in cars are unrestrained.   National statistics show that unrestrained pets in the car pose a danger to themselves, other passengers in the car, and any potential rescue workers (in the event of an accident).

Not long ago in the city where our store is located (Laguna Beach, CA), there was a multi-car accident in which none of the humans were hurt, but a small dog was thrown out of the car and immediately was killed.  A simple dog restraint belt would have saved his life.

As pet lovers, we need to get this point across to people.  So, if you have any related stories (good or bad) regarding a dog safety restraint, we want to hear them!  Please add your comments!
